OUTVIVOR is back but this time with a vengeance 😈 The OUT Social & Philanthropy Committee is excited to share that we have planned a unique camping/ competition opportunity for our members.

OUTVIVOR: Camp Carnage is inspired by the beloved tv show, Survivor, but with the twists and turns of campy horror movies. Our 3rd season of OUTVIVOR promises to be our most twisted, ruthless and challenging yet.  We will be returning to Camp Geneva, located in Fruitland Park, FL - one hour away from Downtown Orlando and an hour from Tampa. This event will be both a fun camping getaway in the woods and an organized, action-packed, fun-filled competition with the OUT Sports community!  OUTVIVOR is designed to test your competitive drive, social skills and strategic-thinking ability. 

For the first time, we are extending the program to a 3-night experience happening over Labor Day weekend.  This will allow more time for socializing and additional gameplay! 

Do you have what it takes to OUTGAY, OUTSLAY and OUTSPORT? Battling through challenges, backstabbing, and against the elements we will see who has what it takes to be named OUT Sports League’s 3rd OUTVIVOR. The winner will not only be granted bragging rights, but will win a prize package which will include 1 FREE OUT SPORTS LEAGUE REGISTRATION for an upcoming season.

Payment plan options are available. Make your first payment by June 28th to utilize a payment plan.  Once this event hits capacity we will not be able to accommodate additional players. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

• 3 nights of lodging (Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening) in cabins (Full electricity, bathrooms and A/C).

• All meals from the time of arrival including snacks and beverages throughout the day.  

• All supplies and materials for challenges and gameplay.

FAQs

• What happens if I get voted out of the game early?
  • We've designed the game to make sure that everyone can stay engaged throughout the experience.  Even once you have been voted out there will still be opportunities to impact and influence the game.  Plus, every person who plays will get a vote for the winner in the end! 
• How will we get through the entire game in 3 days?! 
  • We've taken liberties from the original format of the show.  Some contestants may be voted out while others may be eliminated via a challenge.  In most circumstances, multiple people will be voted out/eliminated.
• Will there be any down time?
  • There will be moments of down time, but the weekend will be action-packed.  So come prepared to play! 
    
• Do I need to go with a group or can I come solo?
  • All are welcome!!! We've had all sorts of contestants from solo super-fans, to couples to groups of friends.  By design, you will be forced to meet and interact with other people.
    
• Will there be any required swimming?
  • Everyone should bring a bathing suit with them.  There will be opportunities where swimming will be incorporated into tribal(team) challenges, but you will never be required to swim.
    

Why the price increase?

Our 3rd season of OUTVIVOR promises to be our biggest and best yet! The addition of a 3rd night and production costs have caused us to increase the price from prior seasons. Our team is hard at work to ensure the value of your experience is well worth the additional cost, and we promise, it will be. The goal will be to stabilize the price from here for sustained future success.  

Arrival - Friday August 30th 

• Participants can begin to arrive at Camp at 6:30 p.m. 
• We ask that all participants arrive no later than 8:30 p.m.
• We will host an Arrival Party from 7 - 9 p.m. 
• The official welcome and overview of the game will take place at 9 p.m. - Gameplay will begin immediately following. 

Departure - Monday September 2nd 

• Gameplay is schedule to conclude on Sunday evening (late).  Let us know if you need to depart early.
• On Monday you can depart at any time in the morning.  Camp needs to be broken down and cleaned out by noon. 

ACCOMODATIONS (https://campgeneva.net/accommodations/)

• Our host will be Camp Geneva (36540 Vía Marcia, Fruitland Park, FL 34731). Located about one hour from downtown Orlando in Lake County (towards Ocala)

• We will be staying in "The Hideway" section of the camp.

• All participants will stay in cabins. These cabins have electricity, heat/AC and a full bathroom.

• We've been asked by the campground to put 6 people per cabin (They sleep 12).  
  • In the event you would like to have more than 6 people in your cabin, we recommend no more than 8 people total

• Pillows, Sheets and Towels will not be provided. You will need to provide your own comforts (so it's up to you how much of a true "survivor experience" you want).
• Participants will be able to group themselves. Any group with less than 6 may be added to another group in order for us to maximize cabin space.
  • We will send out a Bunking Survey in Early August.  This survey will allow you to identify who you would like to room with or to match you with appropriate bunkmates. 

MEALS

• This experience will include all meals from the time you arrive on Friday until the time that you depart on Monday morning

• Dietary Accommodations will be collected during registration. If you need to update them or have any specific concerns please contact out.socialcommittee@gmail.com no later than August 23rd

Refund Policy: In the event that you need to cancel, you must request a refund on or before July 31st at 11:59 p.m. E.T. - If you have to cancel after that date, you may transfer your registration to another person or forfeit what you have paid.  For refund inquires please reach out to out.socialcommittee@gmail.com

Weather: OUTVIVOR is a rain or shine event.  In the event that we experience inclement weather where it is unsafe to continue, we will move the date and/or offer refunds.  Camp has plenty of indoor space in the event that we need to move portions of the program inside. 

OUT Sports League is committed to the safety and security of all attendees. We strive to provide a safe, social, and accepting space and do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior.

All members of OUT Sports League and event guests have an obligation to respect their fellow participants. Any conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment is grounds for removal or ejection from the premises without recourse.
